Why we are here
Empowering young learners by teaching them to speak real Spanish, thereby helping them to transform their future
Mission
We believe that by starting their learning of a world language at a young age, children will not only develop their cognitive skills and language proficiency as they grow, but it can also have a big impact on the future of our diplomacy, national security, and economic development.

Power That Talk aims to provide language courses that will help provide a more in-depth cultural experience and give learners the tools to communicate in simple, powerful, and effective ways. We are offering language proficiency-focused courses by creating a carefully well-developed curriculum connected with real-life, task-based experiences through engaging thematic units. Our main objective is to provide real-life learning opportunities, that are supported and guided by a native speaker who has been professionally trained to teach languages. Our lesson plans have been designed with learners in mind, incorporating the American Council of Teaching Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Proficiency Guidelines and World-Readiness Standards for learning: Communication, Cultures, Connection, Comparison, and Communities. We will facilitate target language comprehensibility by using the target language as much as possible. We will provide contextualized situations that will present grammar points focusing on meaning before form. Our corrective positive feedback will be provided orally to promote awareness and aid in language development. We will target the four competencies of communication: speaking, reading, writing, and listening; always having our learners’ age and interest in mind while encouraging them to increase their language proficiency.
